Shearing Demonstration

It's Fun and it's FREE!

Saturday March 25, 2023   from 10 to 2

We will be shearing alpacas. Come.... hang out, enjoy.  The public is invited to watch

the annual harvest of alpaca fiber.  Fiber artists will spin the fiber into yarn, others will

be weaving and transforming the raw fiber into beautiful end products. Shop the boutique for fun alpaca products.

 

National Alpaca Farm Days

It's Fun and It's FREE!

Saturday, September 30, 2023 10 am - 4 pm

Join us for our 10th annual open house on National Alpaca Farm Days.  We are joining alpaca ranchers across the US and Canada opening our ranch so you can meet the alpacas face to face.  Walk through our pastures and experience the gentle nature of our alpacas.

Bring your camera to take pictures with the alpacas. Learn about the alpaca and the life style directly from your local alpaca ranchers. Watch demonstrations of spinning, weaving and other fiber activities.

Start your holiday shopping early in our boutique where you'll find alpaca apparel and products.

Bring your knitting or crocheting and join us for the afternoon.

October 2023 Orland Fair Grounds

Come visit us at the show.  This show is put on by the California Alpaca Breeders

Association, Calpaca.  There will be 2 halter show where the animals are judged 50%

on their fleece and  50% on their confirmation.  There is also a Walking Fleece Show. 

In this portion of the show only the fleece  is judged.  It is anticipated there will be

about 250 alpacas attending the show. Its an excellent opportunity to  see lots of

animals and talk to many farms to learn about alpacas.
